This project was a dig and replace project that consisted of laying 11,752 LF of 42″, 48″ & 60″ fiberglass reinforced polymer gravity sewer pipe in an existing sewer easement behind established neighborhoods, an aerial river crossing that required the installation of helical piles, 55 AGRU lined manholes, open cut 200 LF in solid rock across a cross country gas easement that consisted of a 30″, 2-36″ and a 42″ high pressure gas main, a 90 LF 60″ jack and bore, bypass pumping up to 16 mgd was required at sewer tie-ins. One bypass pumping setup to note included: 14-12″, 6-10″, and 4-8″ critical silenced pumps and 3-18″ HDPE discharge lines (15 MGD bypass). This project also required night surveillance with off duty officers to deter theft and vandalism.
