Skilled Excavator Operators
Skilled Loader Operators
Equipment Operated:
- Komatsu 300 & 400 backhoe
- CAT 963 loaders
Pay rate offered: $14.00 to $17.00 per hour.
Pipelayer
Responsibilities:
- Sets up laser
- Lays pipe to grade
- Signals for backhoe operator when setting pipe, manholes, gravel, headwalls, etc.
- Moves and sets up pumps for control of groundwater
- Insures each joint is made without leak
- Grout-up storm drain pipe in structures
- Helps string out materials
- Practice safety at all times
- Work any other job as necessary
Pay rate offered: $10.00 to $12.00 per hour.
Bankman (Laborer)
Responsibilities:
- Get tools to the work site from crew truck or tool house
- Supply tools and materials to pipelayer and tailman in ditch
- Move and set up pumps for control of groundwater
- Get materials ready on item to be installed next
- Have chain or cable around pipes before backhoe is ready for it
- Cut pipes as necessary and as directed
- Helps string out materials
- Practice safety at all times
- Work any other job as necessary
- General project labor
Pay rate offered: $8.00 to $10.00 per hour.
